DescriptionThe training is designed for candidates with basic statistical knowledge, and will provide an introduction to habitat modelling for zooplankton and fish in the North Atlantic. Participants should come out from the workshop with the capacity to apply basic statistical techniques to their own data. The course will be held in Tecnalia-AZTI, Spain.

Application Documents RequirmentPriority to EURO-BASIN Contributors to WP3, WP5 and WP7 (but open to all BASIN-related projects & North American participants). Maximum 20 participants. No workshop fees, but travel and living expenses covered by participants (selected EURO-BASIN participants can use the projects funds for attendance). Interested applicants should email to euro-basin@aqua.dtu.dk (subject: EURO-BASIN ISM Training Workshop) with a max. of 250 words on the following points: (1) Relevant experience on statistical habitat modelling (short paragraph) ; (2) Current involvement in the BASIN/EURO-BASIN programs with reference to Tasks or research teams involved (short paragraph) ; (3) How could the training facilitate the specific research tasks you are involved in (short paragraph)?
